Bison has passed his eye and heart OFA certifications. Hips are also Good and elbows Normal through OFA. Bison's most recent eye certification was 2023, and normal (no breeder option codes).

Bison is a darker colored, watery boy who loves, loves, loves retrieving. He is very enthusiastic! He has a wonderful temperament and connection with humans! Whether it's hunting, doing tricks or just retrieving, he strives to be a "Good Boy!"
Bison is a golden retriever clear in Ichthyosis Type 1, Ichthyosis Type 2, PRA-prcd, PRA1, PRA2, DM, DEB, MD, OI, SAN, NCL and more. He attained his first AKC Trick Dog title in May 2019 and also trains in hunt testing, agility, rally, obedience and show. Bison is e-collar conditioned, force-fetched and working toward hunt tests. He completed his JH title and is working toward his SH. He enjoys pheasant hunting and loves water.

He attained CGC (canine good citizen) and TKN (trick dog novice) with his junior handler. He began his work toward hunt tests the winter of 2020 and is currently a Senior Hunter.

Einstein is a medium colored, happy-go-lucky boy who enjoys retrieving. He tends to let Bison, our older male take the lead when it comes to being in the field, but he has some great potential in his future with hunting and hunt testing. He is very sweet with his human folk and has an amazing drive for birds.

Einstein is a golden retriever clear in Ichthyosis Type 1, Ichthyosis Type 2, PRA-prcd, PRA1, PRA2, DM, DEB, MD, OI, SAN, NCL and more. He presently trains in obedience and pheasant hunting. Although he is unrelated to Einstein, Scout and T-Rex, he reminds us very much of T-Rex with his pleasant, gentle demeanor with people. Einstein has a wonderful pedigree with parents that are qualified all-age in field trialing and hunt tests.

"Scout", who is co-owned by Jennifer Winningham-Floden and Kaitlyn (Winningham) Odegaard, is a handsome, 4 year old, medium-dark golden retriever son of T-Rex of Floden Farm. Scout is also sire to our stud, Bison.

Scout qualified to compete at the MN State Fair in 2017 in rally through 4-H. He is watery, higher drive, active and loves hunting pheasant & grouse. He works beautifully! Many of his pups have taken on hunting easily.

Scout's dam, Firesides Crossfire Shooter, is out of Fireside At Your Bec N' Call**, an excellent marking, hard driving bitch with loads of heart and desire that has ran the Amateur and Open. Scout's grandsire, "Push" became the only living Triple Champion golden retriever in December of 2009. Kaitlyn has raised and loved Scout since puppyhood and lives in northern Minnesota. Scout has made frequent trips back to Floden Farm for extra training and family visits.
He is father to some of Bella's dual sire 2017 litter, and so far we have been very pleased with the pups from this litter. We kept Bison out of this wonderful breeding and decided to get back into hunt tests.

Scout loves people, playing with toys, water and will retrieve all day. Scout is a gorgeous, medium-dark golden retriever with a sweet demeanor that has a nose for pheasant.
Scout has all of his OFA health clearances recommended by the GRCA, making him CHIC-certified by the OFA - Excellent Hips, Normal Elbows, Normal Cardiac, Normal Eyes & Normal Thyroid. Additionally, he is clear of PRA-prcd, PRA1, PRA2, and DM, Ichthyosis Type 2, and unaffected genetically of Ichthyosis Type 1 (carrier status only). Scout is raised indoors. A typical bedtime ritual for him includes saying goodnight, saying his prayers, finding his blanket and sleeping on the floor at the foot of Kaitlyn's bed. Scout has also been socialized extensively with other dogs. He is available to Ichthyosis-clear females.
