We anticipate birdy, driven pups in this litter with a stong connection to their humans. Pups should have the potential to be capable of hunting, hunt tests, field trialing, conformation, agility, retrieving, scent work, or even service or therapy work as some of Bison's ancestors have become physical service dogs. Pups will likely appear to be medium to darker golden (Marley's parents are both darker golden and darker red golden retrievers, and Bison's parents are both dark red goldens).
Marleys coat is straight. She weighs about 58 lbs. Bison has a wavy coat, carrying both straight and curly genes.
Please note that we don't have a preference when it comes to breeding color, nor for breeding the "rare, white, English Cream golden retriever". Our focus is for other qualities, such as health, temperament and trainability. Review the Golden Retriever Club of America link for a note on golden retriever coloring and why that shouldn't be a primary focus for top breeders.
We encourage families to place their deposit early on this litter. Pricing information and puppy applications are now available.
